Who we are
The organization is run by visionary, talented, creative and highly educated individuals. We keep a watch on performance of state’s institutions, standard of good governance and human rights abuses. We visualize upcoming threats and exposures to the country. We reveal and identify irregularities in prevailing legislations and government policies that encourage injustice, discrimination and nepotism. Identifying threats we look for their solutions through research and analysis. During the period 1996 – 2001, we conducted research studies on various issues of good governance, human rights violations and poor performance of institutions. Our articulate work created thousands of jobs and brought reforms in laws and institutional functions.
We successfully completed numerous projects which identified disastrous nature of threats to the country and barriers to economic development. Today, these unaddressed issues have become big problems for the country. Further, certain legal issues were taken to Superior Courts. The Courts decided in our favor to bring about change in systems, laws and procedures; this in turn, created thousands of jobs and improved good governance including a benefit to the common man for his life security and justice.
We are trying to bring the talented youth of Pakistan on the front lines so that they play their part in protecting and developing their country which is the only place for them to live and work. It has been proved from history of past revolutions and noble missions that a single voice raised, gathered and empowered many voices. That is why we prefer to stand united with men of principle, wisdom and vision to make our voice unique and strong in order to change this unjust world and create a better place to live in for ourselves and our future generations. We are committed to making Pakistan into a welfare state where everybody regardless of religion and status will have equal rights, basic amenities, doorstep justice and employment.
We want to bring forth talent of the nation to become think tanks of Pakistan for its sovereignty, prosperity and right planning. We are working on an agenda that will bring corruption free transparent system, check and balance, appropriate distribution of wealth and just legislation that will address duty of care, law of negligence and compensatory damages. Additionally, we will stand up for the integrity and economic betterment of the common man. Regardless of status, gender and race we are struggling to bring in supremacy of just law, justice and merit. Insaf Society has always lobbied the authorities and regulators to uphold their responsibility of delivering good governance. Let’s start an alternative peaceful revolution with wisdom and vision.
